Terms of Service

By accessing or using Shikibu (the "Service"), operated by jugoya.ai ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Shikibu is an AI assistant integrated with Slack that provides conversational AI, task management, web search, and other productivity features for your workspace.

To use the Service, you must install Shikibu to your Slack workspace via OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your workspace and account credentials. You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use this Service.

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. All fees are in Japanese Yen (JPY) unless otherwise stated. Prices are inclusive of applicable consumption tax. We may revise our fees due to changes in service content or other reasons. If we revise our fees, we will notify you of the new fees and the effective date at least 30 days in advance by email or through the Service. The revised fees will apply from the next renewal date after the notification. If you do not agree to the revised fees, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date.

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable laws or regulations; (b) send spam, harassing, or abusive messages; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service; (e) upload malicious content or code; (f) use the Service for any illegal purpose; or (g) circumvent any usage limits or restrictions.

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by jugoya.ai and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content as necessary to provide the Service.

The Gmail integration feature uses Google Apps Script deployed by you. We do not store your Gmail credentials. The Google Apps Script runs under your Google account and is subject to Google's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for any issues arising from the Google Apps Script execution environment.

The Service uses AI models (including those from Anthropic and OpenAI) to generate responses. AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. You should verify any important information independently. We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated responses.

The Service integrates with the Brave Search API for web search functionality. Search results are provided by Brave and are subject to their terms and policies. We do not control or guarantee the accuracy of search results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, jugoya.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling Shikibu from your Slack workspace. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you of the changes and the effective date at least 30 days in advance by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
